Portugal is the first European country to receive the "Best Tourist Destination of the World" award at the World Travel Awards ceremony. Congratulations!
Lisbon, for the first time, won the "Best Destination for City Break" award and Madeira was considered "Best Island Destination in the World".
This three prizes are joined by another 3, Sintra Parks and Turismo de Portugal also came out winners.
