Intergovernmental Commission Russia - Portugal

On December 7, 2018, the Minister for Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Maxim Oreshkin, and the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Portuguese Republic, Pedro Siza Vieira, co-chaired the VII Joint Commission for Economic and Technical Cooperation in Lisbon, signed a Road Map for the Portuguese-Portuguese Cooperation for the period 2018-2020.

This Roadmap will promote a strengthening of bilateral relations between the two countries, notably in extending the legal framework of Economic and Trade Cooperation, fostering economic, commercial and investment cooperation, strengthening innovation in economic and trade interaction between Portugal and Russia, in infrastructure and transport, in renewable energies and in industry.

Optimistic was present through Svetlana Bilous and Bruno Valverde Cota on behalf of the Business Council of Russia Portugal and had the opportunity to participate in the plenary session, where he spoke on the theme perspectives of the future in the commercial relations between Russia and Portugal.
