Optimistic received in Lisbon the Russian Company PROTAI

On the 12th and 13th of April, Optimistic welcomed in Lisbon the Russian company PROTAI, one of the largest companies in telecommunications and IT, and held bilateral meetings in Lisbon Offices and in the Russian embassy. Later this month, Optimistic will led to Moscow and St. Petersburg a multi-sector mission of Portuguese companies.

It should be noted that exports from Portugal to Russia increased by 23% in 2017, while imports grew 30%, both compared to 2016.

RUSSIA IN BREIFING:

- Expected to grow to USD 4.3 trillion in 2019

- Has the highest GDP per capita among BRICS countries

- As regards the export of Portuguese products to Russia, the sectors that stood out most in 2017 were: textiles and shoes, equipment and transport, chemical industry, food and agriculture, wood and metals.
