Conference in Czech Republic
On April 24 Veronica Debreceni from Optimistic and as Secretary-General of the Czech-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce, of which Optimist is a member, participated as a speaker at the conference "Czech Republic and Portuguese-speaking countries: Present and Future Cooperation".
The event took place in the Czernin palace in Prague and was organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the CPLP member countries, the Czech Society of Portuguese Language and the Camoes Institute.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Mr. Tomas Petříček, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cape Verde, Mr. Luís Tavares, the Secretary of State of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Portugal Teresa Ribeiro and Ambassador of the Czech Republic in Portugal, Mr. Peter Selepa participated among other guests.
The purpose of the conference was to foster the negotiations on economic, cultural and scientific cooperation and to identify business opportunities. It should be noted that in this event the good relations between the Portuguese-speaking countries and the Czech Republic were highlighted.
